At Cassidy Hospitality Group, sustainability is about making better choices every day; for our guests, our teams, our local community and the place we call home.
As a family-run hospitality group based in Enniskillen, we know that the small decisions we make across our venues can have a meaningful impact. From the suppliers we choose and the food we serve, to how we manage energy, reduce waste and support our people, we are always looking for ways to do things more thoughtfully.
We are proud to be rooted in County Fermanagh, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, local producers and a strong community spirit. Our aim is to protect and support that wherever we can, while continuing to offer warm hospitality, quality food and memorable experiences across all of our venues.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey for us. We do not claim to have everything perfect, but we are committed to learning, improving and making practical changes that help us operate more responsibly.
Supporting local is at the heart of how we work across Cassidy Hospitality Group. Wherever possible, we choose local food producers, Irish suppliers and nearby businesses who share our focus on quality, care and provenance.
At Gourmet Grocer, this commitment is especially visible. Our shelves are filled with carefully selected artisan foods, local produce, Irish products, pantry favourites, wines, gifts and chef-made meals. We work with makers, farmers, producers and independent suppliers to bring customers food and drink with real flavour and a story behind it.
Across our restaurants, bars and production kitchen, our teams continue to source ingredients responsibly, reduce unnecessary travel where possible and champion suppliers from Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and the wider island of Ireland. By supporting nearby businesses, we help strengthen the local economy while offering guests and customers fresh, high-quality food and drink.
From seasonal menus and local produce to hampers, deli items and chef-prepared meals, responsible sourcing helps us create better experiences while staying connected to the community around us.
We are continually reviewing how we use energy, manage resources and reduce waste across our venues.
From monitoring our solar yield to improving everyday energy awareness, our teams are focused on finding practical ways to operate more efficiently.
Waste reduction is also an important part of our approach. We aim to plan carefully, make use of ingredients responsibly and reduce unnecessary food waste wherever possible. Across our venues, we continue to look at recycling, packaging choices, single-use items and smarter operational processes.
Hospitality is naturally a busy and resource-heavy industry, so we know there is always more work to do. Our focus is on steady, realistic improvements that can be embedded into daily routines and make a genuine difference over time.
We are also monitoring our solar yield as part of our wider energy awareness work. By tracking the energy generated through solar panels, we can better understand our usage, reduce reliance on traditional energy sources and continue making practical improvements across the group.
Our newest solar installation has already generated measurable results, showing the positive impact that investment in renewable energy can have over time.
Month 1
3,605 MWh generated
Month 2
2,728 MWh generated
These results help us track progress, understand seasonal changes and continue building a more responsible approach to energy use across Cassidy Hospitality Group.
Cassidy Hospitality Group has deep roots in Enniskillen and County Fermanagh. Our venues are part of the local community, and the people who work with us are central to everything we do.
We are proud to provide local employment across a wide range of roles, from hotel reception and housekeeping to kitchen teams, café staff, bar teams, marketing, maintenance, production, management and events. Many of our team members live locally, know our guests by name and help create the warm, familiar service our venues are known for.
We believe in supporting people as they grow. Through training, experience and internal progression, we aim to give our teams the opportunity to build confidence, develop skills and progress within the hospitality industry.
Community support is also an important part of our values. Across the group, we are proud to support local causes, charities, events, schools, sports clubs and community initiatives where we can. As a Fermanagh business, we want to contribute positively to the place that has supported us for so many years.
